Activities of the Outcomes and Biostatistics Core include:

• Collaboration and Consultation in AIDS Research - Providing expertise on biostatistics, data analysis, study design and outcomes research for short and long-term projects. Priority is given to funded researchers and junior investigators seeking external funding.

• Participation in Grant Proposal Development and Funded Research - Members of the core are available to collaborate on existing funded research projects and on proposals for external funding. Guidelines can be found here.

• Methods Research – Development of novel statistical methods for study design, data collection, and data analysis.

• Database Development – Design of data-entry forms and creation of research databases.

• Training, Education and Mentorship - Mentorship of junior faculty, courses in biostatistics, seminars on statistical methodology.
